A Nickel, A Dime

Finding, binding, winding your time
Sleeping, weaving, asking for more...
The closer you get to the time you'll forget
You'll be looking back and wishing you wore...
A garment from start of a hardened heart
To get yourself by with that heart torn apart

You get by, and get by wanting more than you have
Wheeling and dealing to settle for half
Waiting, you feel, could not be a crime
A nickel, a dime, til' you run out of time
Pleading, weaving, and asking for more

Read the full of A Nickel, A Dime

Whatever The Reason

They flagged you man- barred your soul
Parts apart- Whatever the reason
I start to season in pain from treason.

Stand, Confess
I lock my eyes on the parting seams of your dress
No, not me
I'm an island waiting miles away to set you free
Crowd, surround
