They add to the beauty,

It shines high up in the sky,
it twinkles and looks so bright,
it’s a speck in the dark night,
shining away in the universe so wide,

A spring in my step,

I take the first leap,

An empty canvas,
waiting for the painter to put colour on it.
Muted agony,
waiting for words to fill the void.
