Michael Olakunle Adesanya
Biography of Michael Olakunle Adesanya
My poetry has usually been inspired by events in my life or in the lives of those around me.
Poetry has always seemed to be the only way to truly express every emotion I have ever felt. At first it was just a release of tension, anger, and that old teen angst. A paper cant tell you how to feel, and you cant hurt it or the pen. Its better to write it before you say something you regret.
My sense of honor is against my interest in some cases. if you acquire a sense of honor like the way i have acquired it, it helps a lot in difficult situations, i talk my way through. Basically I am the cheerful type, hilarious type but deep-seated in me. I have great sympathy for those of them that need sympathy. Basically, I love human being and I am very happy that they all love me. That is just me
Michael Olakunle Adesanya Poems
There are times when only a Mother's love Can understand our tears, Can soothe our disappointments And calm all of our fears.
Rainbows would never be rainbows If sunshine had never met rain No one would ever need comfort If there was no sadness and pain
Here I Come
I look forward to the future Hopefully I will cross the bridge of tomorrow That seems to be collapsing. With given thanks to God,
Well maybe now I should just say goodbye you used to be my friend but I never felt I really was yours So maybe this is the end
All my life, I've been searching Sometimes I found but not for me Sometimes I found not for long Sometimes I make do with unmarch part
If the sky above seems cloudy, And you are left out in the ran, If you are searching for a rainbow, But the colors bring you pain,
My whole life has turn a new way since I met you, I knew you were that special one I'm so in love, so deep in love
Never stop caring about the little things in life, never stop dreaming or give in to strife.
The Dirty Thirties
I needed to talk to somebody and there was no one to talk to except the wind.
Friends Without Faces
We sit and we type, And we stare at our screens... We all have to wonder What this possibly means.
You will find meaning in life Only if you create it. It is not lying there Somewhere behind the bushes,
If one day you feel like crying call me I don't promise you that I will make you laugh but
I'm nothing, you are something I agree; leave me in my corner You go to your corner. I take the part of the day
Salute To My Pope
I never saw you, face to face though You were every where around The world, I never had the opportunity to Shake hands with you one on one
All my life, I've been searching
Sometimes I found but not for me
Sometimes I found not for long
Sometimes I make do with unmarch part
Gazing through the window
Hoping for the star to come my way
Years past and no sign of the star
All day long still no sign of it
Lonely, I'm so lonely
