Mike Farris Jr.
Biography of Mike Farris Jr.
As you know, my Name is Mike Farris Jr.. I was convicted of a felony for drinking and operating a motor vehicle (Harley-Davidson) , and I was sent to prison in May of 2008 (I am now out) . While serving time in the department of correction I had to find some way of relieving the the mental strain of being locked up, so I decided to write my thoughts in poetry form on paper. I found that this came quite easy to me. most of my poems are revolved around being locked up in the prison system and the prison system itself, however, there are a few poems I wrote that have nothing to do with jail or prison at all. I continue to write poems when something comes to me that I feel worthy of writing about or if I'm just inspired in some way. With that being said, I hope you enjoy my writings and find them insightful.
