Mill Field Poems
Comments about Mill Field
Friendship stands the test of time,
Where-ever the place, whatever the clime.
Friendship is mellow, friendship is strong,
Friendship stands fast during sorrow and song.
Friendship's not dumb, nor yet is it blind,
Acknowledges truth yet strives to be kind.
Friendship is something with feet on the ground,
Be thankful for friendship where-ever it's found.
Gen Dave's Friend
Mini was skinny, some said thin,
Whose mother left her by the bin;
For days she kept well out of sight
And only ventured forth at night -
When owls sweep down on silent wings
And no-one sees those fearful things.
Dave wasn't rough, he wasn't rude,
He let her share his plate of food;
