Man and dog

I listen and hear
Read over and over:
"...man and dog..."

Jack London was great
Of the wolf and the dog
In detail social life

I have as you have:
Much about the dogs' life
When with man, when with us

"A horseman..."
The tale said and ended:
"The man made a mistake."

With its barks dog had warned
"Something's wrong."
Ignored dog, went on to town.

Man and dog; this is one
Same is one with the dog
Having lost a loved one
Coming back at set time
Vigilant, ...
