Biography of Navarun Mallick
My English teachers always told me that I wrote well, so I started writing poems since 10. Today, I am 13. Many of my poems have been lost since, but I post whichever poems I can find. I believe in authenticity and would like to assure readers that all poems are original poems.
Navarun Mallick's Works:
There are no books or e-books of mine yet, but I plan to publish a book of poems within 1 to 2 years' time.
Navarun Mallick Poems
The Plight Of Night

Rays Of Hope
Here and there, nothing but despair, All alone, nobody to share, Darkness, darkness, everywhere, But still there are rays of hope.
In that little shop behind the street, There is someone wonderful to meet, And the things he makes; Oh, by God! Definitely better than rice and sod.
I take leave of my mountain mother To tumble down a valley And stealthily, I slip unnoticed Till I slip in the river with a sally.

A warm smile, a healing touch, Slow to anger, quick to comfort, These are but a few qualities, Of the innumerable found in our mother.
When The Rains Come In India
When the rains come in India, The breeze is cool, the skies are dark, Lightning illuminates the sky, As thunder is heard afar.
A warm smile, a healing touch,
Slow to anger, quick to comfort,
These are but a few qualities,
Of the innumerable found in our mother.
From the beginning she holds our hand,
Never failing to understand,
Our problems, but we don't care,
For her, until she isn't there.
