Biography of Neet Baker

I was taken into care as a young child and spent my whole life trying to fit in and thus trying to make sense of it all.

I live my life by the maxim 'Never Fear Failure, only Fear Regret.' and I seek to treat people how I would like to be treated and hate in-equality in all forms. I dont see myself as a poet but a lover of words. Words are powerful things and should be used with care, for they can tear at the heart and the very soul and evoke powerful images. Some can find the light of day, some are burnt off by the morning mist and should remain so. Sometimes it is therapeutic, sometimes it awakens the dragon! Somtimes there is frustration at not being able to form or say what is in the heart but you read other peoples poems and they fill the void! Either way words used with thought and care can fulfil an inner need that dwells in all philosphical thinkers! Thank you for your words!

Dreams Still Born

Not meant for this world, the believers said…
No use to man, better off dead…
Bitter-sweet ashes burning inside,
Mind devoid, withers and dies…

Time of darkness, white-hot fear…
Amoeba-like, no room here…
Suffocation in a female embrace,
Smiles for strangers, chameleon face…
