My Little Beans!
We stepped in not knowing what to expect,
our bodies were frozen with fear
as anxiety drew us closer.
Our eyes never left each other,
Hands held tight as if
Forced together by creation of life itself,
Bounding every moment we waited for you.
Fifteen meaningful hours had still to pass,
What was going to happen?
Circling in our thoughts was fear.
Finally, it was time
We knew it, but still uncertain of what to come
We walked in blindly, we grew weak as the struggle grew stronger.
Thus striking our souls lifeless in existence
Hands of time circled...
