Ants

Ants, small and silly they may seem,
Collectively they are a mighty creature;
They swarm, no, engulf in a terrible wave,
Any creature foolish as to trouble their nest;

Big at heart without a thought for self,
Workers toil tirelessly but not for a penny;
'All for the colony', they sing as they tug away,
For you see, with ants there are no singletons;
