Requiem Of A Tortured Soul

Why?
He asked.
It was his final question before they let him go…
Die.

What seems to be the purpose?
There are no ambitions worth it. I’m getting nervous.
The liars have pretty faces.
Those human beings are simple disgraces.

He fell to the ground. Twenty stories to a concrete heaven.
Please just let his body fall, like a ventriloquist dummy.
The strings break around him, or were they cut?
This is not life, not even close, this is all a plot.

Fifteen.

When?
He thought.
His long dream to know when it would all make sense.
