Nicola Borasinski Poems
It comes quietly, sneaking from behind Silently moving, changing constants in time. It shifts your perceptions and twists your mind It begins to take control and leaves you blind.
A Love's Infusion
You know it's funny, isn't it? One moment you are so certain of who you are, your desires, your needs, and then, bang! Reality;
Oh lamentation! The earth weeps solemn As all light vanishes from her sight. Ice encapsulates the turbulent sea An invasion, constricting tight.

Liking, changing, transforming, Into a need stronger than want. Lust testing you slowly, As it smiles and taunts.

My heart still beats your rhythm, around, around, a tortured lament,
My bones ache for your return, grasping feebly at a fleeting chance.
My emotions for you move turbulently, dangerously like fire;
Intriguing and invitingly warm, but hiding that power to incinerate.
My actions are pre-determined for me, they fight and quickly tire.
Your strength with me pulls like a
