After serving for over three decades in different geographic locations as a senior banking professional, Padmaja Iyengar took voluntary retirement to work in areas closer to her heart. She joined a non-profit organization engaged in providing urban governance solutions, as a Senior Consultant. For over 6 years, she was a part of several key urban governance projects viz., stakeholder consultations (involving civil society, NGOs, private sector) , participatory planning, pro poor strategies, gender mainstreaming, media management, relationship management, content development for mass media and e-portals, script writing etc.
Currently, she is concentrating totally on her writing – a dormant passion for long…
