Lay me down low in the garden of Avignon
Aside my cypress sisters erect and tall
With the smell of lavender at my head
And the sweet, smell of jasmine,
Growing on the wall.

Lay me down low beside the wedding tree
The Pagoda Dogwood that blooms white in spring
So I can hear the blackbird and song thrush,
