Come To The City
I know you're on the farm, working day and night,
Never stopping for long, waking up before first light.
I know you don't make much, although you work so hard,
With all your crops and animals, growing in your yard.
I know you want the best, for your friends and family alike,
The reason why you labor, and work with all your might.
But you should leave them to themselves, let them work alone,
And come to the city, to work and play and build your throne.
