7th Grade Cutter - Poem by Jocellyn Smith

A cut there
Another scar here
No way to help
No way at all
Feeling so helpless
No where to turn
I don’t want her in trouble,
But she needs help.
Its summer now
She still hasn’t stopped
It’s 8th grade now and I find it all out.
My knees give out
I break down and cry.
My best friend is now clean
I’m very glad she’s alive.

Wow, i've been in that situation. You described that pretty well.
No, i lie. I still am in that situation. With two people. They haven't yet wised up, but i'm hoping for a success story.
