8. Upanishad, A Poem Unto The Feet Of A Teacher. - Poem by Krishnarasa Seshadri

EKAM: (ONE)
I might never say,
For tomorrow might never be the day,
Let me say it now,
To you of my profound love!

The steed might move on,
Across my memory lawn,
Yet it can never erase,
Your footprint you so danced with grace!

Time might heal, I do not know,
The distance dug with its plough,
Is filled with love up to the brim,
Its beauty as the roses prim.

My love is all I needed to show,
Its depth by each nanosecond grow,
I love you for love’s sake,
Rippling in my heart’s lake!

DWEH: (TWO)
Love is all I can show,
For it is all that takes a heart to glow,
My love for you is my twilight star.
An icon of solitary hope shining afar.

The measure of love tho’ unknown
Grows by the day, never to go down!
My love for you is the strongest I can brew,
Your shadow under which I grew…

I’ve so much to thank,
As the night has to the Sun who sank,
So here is the lamp of love ever lit,
Lest my days end, lest I lose grit! !

TRNI: (THREE)
You may not be in vicinity,
But still are in reach,
Coz you are in my heart,
Beating with sanctity.

Your words always resound,
In my blood and in vein,
Helping me weave through
When harder rack abound.

How can your visage fade
From an ever crowding mind?
You are one with my thoughts,
And you are one, truly god made.

My feelings are not to flatter,
Neither are they praise,
I confide it as love
For it’s all that’d ever matter…..
