9/11 Attack - Poem by William Lofthouse
Nine eleven, oh what a sight
They were flying over head.
They have come with plans in their flight,
To put us all to our bed.
Now that they're here what can we do?
Not sit back and let them win.
They've struck they've struck time to sue,
The sky has never been so dim.
The men in yellow rush up stairs
To find a disturbing sight.
All the people lost in their fears,
Seeing their final white light.
One of them is down, one to go
This will be hard to forget.
What were they thinking, who will know?
They've trapped us in a well knit net.
Now that the towers are finished
They've left us with so much pain
Many lives have been diminished,
Terrorism struck again.
