A Butterfly Poem by alan brown

A Butterfly

Rating: 2.8

A sadness overcame me
as I walked into the room
It was full of unhappy people
with faces full of gloom

Their tears were forever falling
and ran throughout the floor.
Bringing sadness all around us
who could want for more.

But then a little butterfly
fluttered through the air
And faces started smiling
as its beauty laid them bare.

Its colors overcame them
and its silence gave them joy.
And made them all feel young again
just like a little boy.

So if sadness overcomes you
and your tears fall like rain.
Just think of mother nature
and all that we have to gain.

So if sadness overcomes you and your tears fall like rain. Just think of mother nature and all that we have to gain. That's a nice way to overcome a sad mood.
