A Cold November Night

I danced with you all day
lift you up
I let my feet go
and carried you away
I held you so tight
we danced and enjoyed
every moment
till the end of the night

With my arms tight around your waist
I whispered I love you
sure I do, for I will never let you go
because you made my heart glow

It was truly a night to never forget
we fell asleep in each other's arms
with the alarm set


The next morning the Sun and the alarm
woke me up
and when I opened my eyes I could only see
an empty and cold place next to me

Then I realized that all it was,
was just a dream
in a cold and lonely
November night
