I learn, I teach;
I study, I preach;
I compose poems, weave stories,
Write essays, pen opinions;
I do research, prepare scientific articles;
I love nature, music, books, conversing,
Traveling and roaming;
Until I also love and be loved
By an equally passionate she,
Have unalloyed love for HIM,
And compassion for fellow-beings
I am not a complete man
How can completion come to one through someone else, sir? ? ? i think, for that one has to work(pretty hard) within oneself; right sir? ? ?
Completeness comes not while growing but at the conclusion! Let your growth be rich and fruitful to becoming a complete man soon!
he is only as complete as he thinks he is...the definition of completely a relative term...differs from person to person
You'll do. Meanwhile, is a really complete man still merely a man? Or something other or something more? These things we must guess at. They are the stuff of poetry. As you know.
a profound write...on man and his deeds....going beyond the mortal frame of existence
Despite the so active life that you are leading, despite the rich and loving self that you have nurtured, to be able to say that ‘I am not a complete man’ brings out not only your humility, not only your urge to learn and live more towards perfection, but also the fact of your sublime realization that there isn’t anything as absolute completeness in man.
This poem can be read at two levels. At the basic level, the poet still has lots of unfinished business....has many more goals to achieve....maybe something like Robert Frost's 'The woods are lovely, dark and deep... But I have miles to go before I sleep... And miles t go before I sleep....' Well, maybe thats why he calls him incomplete. But at a higher plane......when the poet seperates himself from the 'I' within him, he will become complete...more evolved. I like the enigmatic layers of this poem.......thank you Sir...
