A Cozy Saturday Night - Poem by Michael P. McParland
A cozy Saturday night with you
my sweet love is what I'm dreaming of.
I'm sitting here smiling thinking of us
being together with no more reason for crying.
Just feeling cozy and peaceful
holding each other at the end of a late summer Saturday.
Just holding you while we relaxed
I would have you so close and just
stroke your hair giving sweet kisses
on your cheek and lips.
A cozy night just talking and watching
the last of the games as they finish tonight.
A cozy Saturday night from heaven
in each others loving arms.
I love you babe and it's this dream tonight
that will get me through and help me
till I can actually sit and hold you.
Say I love you sweet Kira not just yesterday,
today or next week,
I'll love you forever because
you make my heart swell with
the ultimate light of true love.
Kira you are my sweet Angel dove.
So I dream and wait for that perfect
cozy Saturday night with my soul mate
knowing that happiness is just being
with the Angel who gives your life reason
and for you I'll always keep working and improving.
So my sweet love I send this sweet dream to you
so you can smile for the happiness to happen as well.
My heart is with you as I am in soul,
I love you Kira because you are perfect in my eyes.
