A Cypress Is Darkness' Poem by james watkin

A Cypress Is Darkness'

A cypress is darkness'
Hiding place.
The stuff of night; nor caught
Or expunged as it ought
To have been.

Holding the line against
Sea-wind's crash
In its cold sensations
Was swept up. Sun's pinions
The blanched gull's!
