A Death Blow Is A Life Blow To Some Poem by john tiong chunghoo

A Death Blow Is A Life Blow To Some

a death blow is a life blow to many
whose world is a caged dream
a bird crying to do what other birds do
eating, mating, flying to the ends of the world
a death blow is a life blow to many
who live in other people's world
sharing its glory, except its happiness
a death blow is a life blow to
others in the same mould

Great stuff! I like how you've crafted this poem into being totally yours. I think it ends very well, 'a death blow is a life blow to others in the same mould'. Well done. All the best, Seán
