A Dream - Poem by James Shaw

End of a long day dropp straight into my bed
Never mind the homework, the books that need to be read
Walking on the beach your hand in mine
Sun is setting; no worry what so ever of the time
Now at home, kissing, snuggling, cuddling with my love
How did this happen? Something my head can’t take hold of
Next dancing in an empty hall joy and bliss in your face as I can remember
During a wintery snow once upon a December
But in the morning it would seem
It was all just a dream…
