A Good Life

Give us a good life free of woes,
and life's undertows. Let us be
satisfied with what we have, and
just a little more.

Who we pray is the giver? Is it only
us? Depends, on how minds are skewed.
That way, or any which way.

We are not guaranteed anything in our
lives except that we follow our own
values. Some are already loaded from
birth to death. Others acquire what seems
to be required.
