A Helping Hand - Poem by Jennifer West

I fell someone picked me up
I cried someone comforted me
I screamed someone slienced me
I got my heart broken nobody could fix me
The person who helped me
Was the person who broke me
Now when....
I fall nobody will help me up
I cry nobody will comfort me
I scream nobody will slience me
So I said I'll mend my heart on my own
Suddleny I was taken by the hand
And I look up and my friends are there
To help me through the pain
And they said in a kind voice
We'll pick you up when you fall
We'll comfort you when you cry
We'll slience you when you scream
We'll be here for you through it all
We'll be here for you like you were for me.
