A Horrible Step - Poem by Mugdha Khedkar
Life is a precious thing,
Once broken, we cannot mend,
Life is meant for people
Who fight till the end.
This is what some people forgot,
They took a horrible step,
All was finished for them
Their loved ones badly wept.
Some hanged themselves,
Some jumped from above,
Marks were responsible for most
For some, it was love.
They were cowards, they didn't think
To their loved ones what they meant
They didn't bother to remember,
The sweet times they had spent.
Some seconds passed by,
What was left was only memories,
With their life ended a happy home,
Left behind were sorrow and worries.
Ending life by our own hands,
Is a mistake one can't forgive,
Life isn't meant for cowards,
Since life is meant to live.
