A Laid-Off Worker Poem by U Win Kyi

A Laid-Off Worker

Rating: 2.8

You left me all of a sudden,
Into pieces, my heart has broken.
Without you I don't know how to live.
Every minutes is filled with feeling that I miss.
When you were with me I felt very tired.
Now my mood drops to the lowest.
If I can't find you,
I don't know what to do.
At age 50+ years, I can't find a new one.
The new opportunity will never come.
You are very very important.
Without you I am not able to pay home rent.
My children have so much worries.
Their study will be in jeopardy.
Because I lost you and have no money.
Losing you gives me a ' Great Depression '
Losing you gives me a 'Great Humiliation '.
My morale goes into a 'Great Recession.'

Only after you are discovered,
my hurt feeling will recover,
but it is impossible in near future.
(you is job)
