A Little Peep In My Life
waking up early in the morning
is always an exciting moment for me
my treasured time with the Lord
my prayer time, my communion with Him
my husband, joining hands together
for our couple prayer time
we lift up to the Lord
all our concerns for the day
and intercede for others
who needs our prayers.
a typical day, a simple day for me
i just love it this way
no spectacular activities
no ifs, no buts
but just follow and obey what the Lord says
playing my favorite Christian songs
the usual routine, day in and day out
as would a wife and a mother do
preparing our meals straight from my heart
though simple, they love and savor my cooking
oh, it's mother's, who can compare her expertise on this?
a compliment i always hear everyday from them
time for me..to read and write
time for me to reach out a friend
time for me to listen to their woes
time for me to be there for them
oh, and these are my favorite thing
to be there when needed..because..i am a friend..
It's the simple things of life that are the most precious. Your religion obviously makes a huge difference - that and the love you share. May you continue living your life with devotion and sharing your faith with those of us lucky enough to read your poetry. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
To put it simply. A beautiful and meaningful life. Thanks for the wonderful example.
My husband joing our hands together. How beautiful is this image. Before reading you poems in future I will close my eyes and conjor up this image of you both than I will read in the presence of your combined joy of each other.-Paddy ---10
Meggie as with all of your wonderful work there is the spiritual theme that radiates and of course you are sowing those seeds God instructed us to plant but you carry it beyond the spiritual level to a personal level and I think it is there.....where you connect with us readers......Bravo
different times, different places, we both look to same sky and see the same thing our God.......beautiful poem my friend 10
People of faith, like yourself, give so freely of themselves to help others in need, this really is a lovely poem. Bob
