A Love Like Day - Poem by Zeus Claumis

A love like day
Took me away
And in knowing, asked me my name-
but frozen with shame-
I told- her a fraud
then, took me abroad
to a distant off place
a smile- by her face
I knew, then what she sought
but my heart thought-not
I had a small woman back in my home
and i knew she was waiting-sitting alone-
So, my love like day
went, Flew-away
and all light and sun
vanished- all Gone.
