A Love So Sweet - Poem by Tevon Martin

i have never tasted a love so sweet
none other can compare
i have never tasted a love so sweet
sweet as cotton candy
i have never tasted a love so sweet
that it makes you weak
every time you are near
i have never tasted a love so sweet
a love that will never leave
i have never tasted a love so sweet
that will never make the past repeat
i have never tasted a love so sweet
a love that continues to grow each day
i have never tasted a love so sweet
sweet as a young child saying i love you
the sweetness of her love draws me near
and tells me to have no fear
for now i am here to make your life complete
i have never tasted a love sweet
