A Marigold Man Poem by Sumit Ganguly

A Marigold Man

Rating: 4.5

October sun, earth, water and air
gave me cool yellow compact form
with deep aroma- zeal.

A little shy but bold in nature,
yellow matches to all colours,
so, I am abundant and cheap.

My star has made me altruist
but society is very choosy.
I am left to myself and my God.

I love my mother earth, father- sun,
airy society and fluid life.
So, I come and go frequently.

I like the allegory. I planted a new cultivar of marigold this year. It is supposed to be 2 1/2 feet tall

Thank you for your warm comment. With a little care, the plant will flourish profusely, I'm sure.
