A Mother's Care - Poem by Seema Chowdhury

A mother's care is the best of all
For she never lets you fall
For with her love, care and smile
You can easily go a long mile
For a mother is really great
So always put on her your faith
And know that her love and care
Is a precious gift so rare
So love her and know it is true
that when you're feeling blue
Then deep inside her heart calm
You can find your pain's balm
So love her and pray to God
That for you in even and odd
Keep the shadow of her care
Because her presence is a gift rare.

In the order of preference, mother is given the first place, like Matha, Pitha, Guru and Deivam-meaning Mother, Father, Teacher and God. Mother is a living God, who gave not only life, but also her loving care to the child. This poem deserves to be displayed in golden letters in every nook and corner in the world. (Report)Reply

simple and devoted...genuine, words poured from the heart, no metaphors or poetic diction required to embellish the text..simply the word MOTHER makes the lines overflow with affection

A brilliant hymn on the wonders of care-taking mother. It highly recommends itself to be rendered into one's mother's tongue and to be sent to her on her very special day. I shall do so on my mother's next birthday, her 83rd to come, so God permits. (Report)Reply
