A Novelle In Ten Seconds - Poem by Vicky Harley

When I died I left behind the man that I loved.
When I died I took his only happiness away.
He joined me not long after and it's now I finally get to spend forever with him.
I didn't always know that he was the man for me,
I always thought he'd be Max.
I died in October when the leaves were orange and the air was warm. I died when in the arms of the man I love I lay.
I died knowing he was the one I'd watch over;
he needed me and always will.
