A Ready Smile - Poem by Seema Chowdhury

In agony and frustration
When hope seems fading
Leaving you alone
To face the longest day of life...
Don't step
Or ever drop
Even a tear of despair
Try to find in that moment
A tiny beauty to look at
To bring you
A ready smile-
A smile of welcoming hope.............
