A Rebellion Against Destiny - Poem by Miles WellingtonDeAnda
Let us not restrict ourselves,
To what is meant to be,
But let us strive to live by,
What is ought to be.
Let us not bow down to the force of destiny,
Let us reject the guiding hand of the higher power,
Choose the force of freewill,
And embrace the light we shine upon the world.
Let us forge our own path,
Let us march down the path to our own beat.
Let the reverbations of our choices,
Beat down upon the ears of time and history.
