A Secret Confession Poem by Pricilla Pui

A Secret Confession

Rating: 5.0

I should retreat from his world
Leaving him in his happy fairytale
It's as if I'm his burden, another disaster
That will only be a waste of his time.

I don't belong with him
I shouldn't have ever spoke with him from the start
I didn't know that I'll fall so hard
Without anyone to catch me.

I could only reminisce the memories
Those happy times we spent together
But it left me crying in the dark
Those thoughts were only a weapon to kill me.

I felt a sword pierce through my heart
As I thought about him
I know that I shouldn't
And I really should not.

I love you
And I know it well
But if loving means giving
Then I'll give you your freedom.

I won't be your burden anymore
I'll just ignore you
And avoid you
And give you the cold hard stare.

Please hate me
For doing all this
At least I could be in your brain
Than to be nothing at all.

A good poem Pricilla. How we allow our lovers to dominate our lives even when they are gone....Best give them a one finger salute and start again..Always move onwards...never back.. Sid.
