A Small Rest 5 - Poem by Michael P. McParland
A small rest is needed my dear,
please reach out your hand
and let me know you are near.
Send me some peace as I lay down
for just a short while.
I need a small rest and your loving strength,
reach out your hand and grab mine tight.
Help me feel calm and steady with
the love so abundant and beautiful you carry.
Please take my hand and let me know you are here.
A very small rest and I'm thinking of you
to help keep me calm as can be.
Please reach out your hand and help me along,
you are so truly wonderful and strong,
I love you darling and thank you for everything.
You are the best and I can't wait for you
to be here with me,
right by my Angel in her peaceful grace.
