A Star Is Born Poem by Paul Michael

A Star Is Born

Rating: 5.0

The velocity of my thoughts,
Terminal.

Rising out of brain,
Vertical.

Making my condition,
Atmospherical.

Pushing me into,
Spiritual.

My soul follows,
Chronically.

Only held back,
Anatomically.

My fears expound,
Exponentially.

As my heart stands,
Confidently.

Firework thoughts brighten the night sky,
Illuminating the blues of my eyes.

The visionary incineration,
Bring an end to the imagination.

The fatalities rain fallacies on my physical form,

Train derailed dreams, impaled before fully born.

As the wandering smoke clears,
A luminous star appears.

A thought transcended the atmosphere,
Celestial.

My thoughts have become,
Extraterrestrial.
