A Still Heart - Poem by Chenell Nash

So, I'm breathing, but my hearts not beating.
A motionless pump of blood to my veins from which I keep bleeding
cause this love is deceiving
For everyday I thought I was getting closer to you,
but in fact I was receding,
and as a fool, I kept repeating
the same two step conceiving that it was your love I was receiving
however I was only dreaming and now grieving
for at this this day I apperceive that we shall never be
though I plead for one last kiss upon my cheek
Make me complete or... Watch me shrink, whither up
and witness as the earth I sink beneath or lay there in the heap of the weak and reek
for I shall be deceased with in a week without you here with me
don't you see it is you who I need...oh no...wait! no! .....don't leave.
