A Sweet Afternoon With Sweet You - Poem by Michael P. McParland

As I here now in complete silence running
through many things in my mind of
both importance and nothing I come back
to the fact and the core thing which is
that I just want sweet beautiful you here
or me there for a sweet afternoon in each others arms
having fun and surrounded in love.
A sweet beautiful afternoon with beautiful you
where life is fulfilled with my Angel I love
more than anything there is in heaven or on earth.
A sweet afternoon of many ahead of us in true bliss
doing whatever it is we want to do.

As I'm about to cook lunch I think of
and dream how I wish you were here to enjoy
all of the work I'll put into it and the extra
love and work I would put in it just for you.
Special tacos just for my girl because you are the best
and truly deserve the best always that there is
in this world or on the other side.
I can't wait for these days to serve you my sweet Queen
as I pour my heart and soul out for you
in all that I do to make you happy and proud.
I love you my sweet darling and I always will.

I so want endless beautiful afternoons with
beautiful gorgeous you who holds my heart and soul
forevermore because you are a treasured
and cherished love in my heart I want to
spend all time with because I know that being
with my best friend is the greatest fate and truest
happiness that there is in any way ever anywhere.
Oh my sweet darling Kira how I wish you were here
and feel all of the love I send to you strongly
through the bond of steel that we share
and know inside you that this is the future we soon shall have.
I love you darling and am ready for you,
A beautiful afternoon with beautiful you is the dream
we should share and smile for right now.
