A trip without us

Waking up the next day without you insight
Tears came down my face
It wasn't quite right
Understanding your obligations and commitment to family
I like
as I chill
Knowing how my baby makes me feel
Having you in my life is what it's all about
Seeing you happy
as I sit on the couch
Dreaming as I may be
Put a smile on my face
about a day with you and me
Enjoying yourself I hope
that is the case
If not I will be on my way
to brighten up the day
and base (family & friends)
Thinking of a trip for you and me
I stay
Is a trip that soon to be
as I pray
