A True Soul - Poem by Amanda harding

A troubled mind
Haunted by pain
Does no one see?
How true this soul is
To much bad in the world
The good get put down
Is this fair?
This is our world
This is what we have made it
One person can not change it
One voice rings alone
But never heard
So the good souls
Spend eternity proving
That through all this darkness
There is light
That through the pain
There is someone there to heal
So much love
No one to believe
In my pure heart
And all my darkness
