A World Of Pain - Poem by DJD Quick/dd

Once upon a myth
A woman opened up a box
Releasing envy, sins, gossip
And everything that sucks

Now our world is polluted
With the gossip and the lies
Coming from this are distress calls that the world cries

'Help us, Help us! '
Our earth is now dying here
Extinction to the human race is so closely near
Gossip, envy, sins
Nobody can trust
All these clot our heads like dirt and dust

There are many things you can do to keep our world alive
But when I mean extinction, I mean the lack of life
The only thing that can really kill us
Are the mouths' we bare
Outta these come hate and no, it's not so rare

What happened to our world that was once full of class
Now these days, it's 'she said, he said'
And 'I'm gonna kick your ass'

Our reputations collapse and fall
Leaving only a rumor to brawl
Now she sits here crying, because of an opened mouth
She's holdin that object that will take her soul south

Trust, love...can we keep it?
Can we trust a soul?
Can we tell our biggest secret?
(that step to take is bold)

Rumors, lies, secrets
They all seem to be related
Because of a mouth, it all started
Because that person was hated!
