Abstinence, As The Heart Grows Fonder - Poem by GingerKat Writers

So many secrets about you, I'd never, ever reveal.
If they threaten to cut my tongue out, silence is what they'd steal.
You are a sacred possession, a guilty pleasure of my soul.
A passion that's immeasurable, well out of my control.
I would travel desert sands, barefoot, on the hottest day.
Just to insure I'd be with you, and you can refuse to meet me half way!
A version of erotic cleanliness, surpassed by no other alive.
Waiting anxiously, only for you, desires I often deprive.
You have something of mine, a gift I can never regain.
You understand this meaning, there's no reason to explain.
A special day that never ends, the memory is fresh in my mind.
With each and every thought, the visions are redefined.
I'll spend my years with emptiness, and stay completely fulfilled.
Knowing you have faith, in the fact that I'm strong willed.
