Accompanied With Empathy
Why would someone do a thing on purpose,
To then declare the act as a mistake?
And then expect to be forgiven,
Accompanied with empathy, comprehension...
And a dinner invitation extended,
By the one who has been offended...
But has elected to offer,
An all expense paid trip to the Caribbean...
For two weeks just to show,
there are no feelings of retribution.
