After Forty Days Of Easter Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

After forty days of Easter
We are near fort of God,
Today is the Ascension Day of 2020,
Strong Christian belief motivates,
People gather and pray
But due to Coroan Virus's danger
All are at home and in quarantine,
Although people pray at Church,
Today home is the church
And all family members are praying,
Remembering ascension of Jesus into heaven,
Precious moment is celebrated,
We greet our world brothers and sisters!

Within these forty days I have prayed
God has granted to reach up to emotion,
Through reading and writing
To reach up to a colourful destination,
I have completed giving
Forty thousands comments
On date 15th May 2020 and
I have completed giving
More three hundred and five comments
Today on this day of 21st May 2020
On Thursday having God's grace,
On this day of the Ascension Day of 2020,
I remember both Holy Soul and God!

Within these forty days I have read,
Many poems written about God and nature,
Various poets and poetesses have written,
Excellent poems of their perception,
I highly appreciate them and thank,
God is merciful to all at a glance!

Today we are travelling towards
The Eternal Church of our father,
Seeing the rosy-pink and red horizon,
Driving several cars in this city of heart,
Crossing the heavenly fly over bridge,
At morning and evening in escorted path,
Maintaining the social distancing
And wearing the mask of wisdom of protection,
We are in journey of prayer for God,
When we shall reach at the gate of Church,
Our affectionate father, God will greet
Today at precious moment
Welcoming his children to his eternal home,
A well decorated eternal church in heaven
Dazzling with several stars and galaxies
Full of eternal light, peace and bliss,
Father will confer his eternal love!
