Again A Day Has Turned - Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Yesterday has gone away
Today has come with light
Today will also be past
Tomorrow new sun will smile.

Again a new day has turned
I have turned my life too
From childhood to age old
I have passed many stages.

From birth to death you see
I have crossed life after
Just like dream I feel all
Memories come and remain.

I travel in cosmic path
By power of time I sing
I remember father of light
Still a day has turned.

Having affection to matters
I may fall in illusion
I have turned towards God
As day turns towards sun.

    Having affection to matters
    I may fall in illusion

how wise, Kumarmani, that illusion unseen prompting disputes, turmoils, wars.. witnessing the power of maya

This poem on life and it's tedious journey is something to read again and again....
From birth to death you see
    I have crossed life after
Just like dream I feel all
    Memories come and remain.

The poem deals with various stages of life and scrutinses its illusions and realities, spirituality and cosmic journey rather beautifully. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the poem and would like to thank you for sharing the same. I would like to quote:
