Aida - Poem by Natalia Nolte

Aida haunts my dreams
She is not human
I know only that
But she lurks
In my brain
Erasing all my good memories
And even when I'm not sleeping
She is there
Nightime comes quickly now
And Aida reapeers
Telling me what to do
Steering me on the wrong road
Where the light fades into darkness
And there is only a hard floor awaiting me
There's a chair
And a piece of paper
There is no pen
I ask Aida why there is no pen
And she hands me a knife
'Why? '
'You write with blood'
Paper is on my lap and I write
But it's not really me writing
The words form
I Own You Know
I look up at Aida
She nods her head
And smiles
